Erasmus+ European programme
We are the main partner of “Fáy András” Foundation in the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. It aims at contributing to the development of skills and employability of young people by giving opportunities for education, training and youth activities or sports.
According to the results of the latest sociological analysis conducted by the team of “Fáy András” Foundation, young people relate only to their current daily lives, without setting goals for the future and avoid making decisions that entail risks or uncertainty. Consequently, the representatives of the young generation face problems on the European labour market with respect to their professional growth and development. Taking this context into account and in line with the Europe 2020 strategy to reduce the school dropout rate and encourage youth participation on the labour market, the OK Center programme will provide medium term solutions by which children and young adults will identify the career that fits them according to their personality, skills and personal preferences.
The proposed methodology is developed according to the motto “Job fit is the basis for both productivity and personal satisfaction”.
In order to provide an educational action that suits the needs of the young generation, the project team will implement a methodology based on an inductive approach in the selected regions and countries. According to Eurostat data, the percentage of young people who do not have a job or do not benefit from education or training has increased from 13% to 16% in the last 5 years. Similarly, the number of socially excluded groups has increased dramatically.
